The West View Hotel is located in Louisburgh, County Mayo on the West Coast of Ireland. Louisburgh enjoys the benefit of being on the Wild Atlantic Irish Coast, ideal for surfing and sea fishing. Our hotel is in the ideal spot for visitors to use it as a base for canoeing, scuba diving, water skiing and fishing. There are also plenty of beautiful walks along the coast, around Old Head and along the Bunowen River which the hotel backs onto.

If you want something a little different, Roonagh Ferry is also close by so guests can visit Clare Island.The island's complex history can be read through its landscape; from archaeological remains of the Neolithic and Bronze age, to rare medieval wall-paintings in the 14th century abbey, to the 'pirate queen' Grace O'Malley's (Grainneuaile) castle and burial place.Louisburgh is the home of the Grace O’Malley museum and lies in the shadow of Croagh Patrick. The hotel offers a mixture of traditional hospitality combined with up to date facilities.
